- Bob Kemerait has been working on our NCERA 208 meetings Dec. 1-3 in Savannah, GA. We currently have 20 rooms booked for the night of 1 December and 20 for the night of 2 December at the DoubleTree Hotel Historic Savanna District. The room rate is $109 + tax. Parking is $10. Begin room registration now by going to the DoubleTree Hotel web site (below) and registering (only one DoubleTree Hotel in Savanna - 411 West Bay Street Savannah, GA 31401 (912) 790-7000) and using the group code "SWA". The meetings will be 8 AM to 6 PM on Dec 2 (Thursday) And 8 AM noon on Dec 3 (Friday). Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided. Bob is working on having vans available for pickups from the airport, about 20 minutes from hotel (Savannah/Hilton Head International Airport is SAV).

- NCERA208 committee annual meeting is being hosted by the University of Florida (Jim Marois) at the U of F North Florida Research & Education Center in Quincy, FL on Wednesday September 23 and Thursday September 24. The meeting will begin at 1:00 p.m. on the 23rd and be completed by 4 p.m. on the 24th. A plot tour is scheduled for the morning of 24th A block of rooms have been reserved for the 22nd and 23rd (and the 24th if needed) at the Holiday Inn Express and Suites in Quincy, FL (850-875-2500) at the rate of $79.99 (regular) and $85.99 (suite) per night under soybean rust/Tenuta. - REVISED NOTICE: The NCERA 208 (Soybean Rust) will meet in Quincy, FL to view and review the current status of Asian Soybean Rust in the US.
