- The annual meeting of the S-1023 multistate project technical committee will be held on August 4 through August 6, 2007, at the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Croix. This meeting will be held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the W-1173 technical committee. The meeting will begin with a Get Acquainted session on the evening of August 4, which will be followed by 2 full days of research presentations and collaborative discussions related to livestock heat stress. Research posters will also be presented plus a tour of the UVI Ag Experiment Station.

- The annual meeting of the technical committee for S-1023 will be held in conjunction with the Southern Association of Ag Scientists (SAAS) in Mobile, AL. S-1023 participants will meet all day on Saturday 2/03/07 and until 11:00 am on Sunday 02/04/07 in the Blakely Room of the Riverview Plaza Hotel. The opening session for SAAS is scheduled to begin in the afternoon of 02/04/07.

- The annual meeting of the S-1023 Multistate Project Technical Committee addressing Heat Stress in Dairy Cattle will meet in conjunction with the Southern Association of Agricultural Scientists in Orlando, FL. The meeting will take place in the Longboat Room of the Wyndham Orlando Resort Hotel beginning at 8:00am on Saturday, February 4 and ending at noon on Sunday, February 5. There is a $40 SAAS registration fee for each participant not planning on registering with an association at the SAAS annual conference (honor system).
