- NC_Temp1602 (NCT-195) Multi-State Research Committee, will meet in conjunction with the 2004 Annual Meeting of the Western Coordinating Committee (WCC-72) on Agribusiness at the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino, Las Vegas, Nevada, on June 6-10, 2004. The NC_TEMP1602 Multi-State Research Committee will have its business meeting on Wednesday, June 9, 2004, 8:00 am-Noon in a room to be announced later.
The agenda for our business meeting will be completed at a later date after consulting with Dr. Donald Larson and other members of the NC_TEMP1602 Multi-State Research Committee. Upon the completion of the consultations with members, the adgenda will be provided electronically. The Boardwalk Hotel and Casino has offered our group a special rate of $89 per night on Friday, June 4th and Saturday June 5th, and $49 per night from Sunday June 6th to Thursday June 10th. Our group members must make room reservations directly with the Boardwalk Hotel and Casino by calling Room Reservations at (800) 635-4581 before Friday, May 14, 2004. Committee members making their room reservations for the meetings must indicate that they are part of the Western Coordinating Committee on Agribusiness Group to qualify for the special room rates. Also, the hotel requires a one nights deposit stay to guarantee the room and the special rate. The registration fee for the meeting is $140.00 per person. The registration fee can be paid in advance by sending a check, payable to the University of Florida-WCC-72, to Dr. Allen Wysocki, Treasurer, Food & Resource Economics, University of Florida, P.O. Box 110240, Gainesville, FL 32611-0240. Also, WCC-72 will charge NC_TEMP1602 for the meeting room on Wednesday, June 9, 2004.
