Additional Info:: Additional information: Stillwater, Oklahoma is about 70 miles from either the Tulsa or Oklahoma City airports. Reserved are 12 single rooms (each with 1 queen bed) for Aug 7 & 8,and 4 rooms for Aug 6 at The Atherton Hotel on the OSU STW campus. The Sunday evening rooms are for those willing to work on the proposal prior to the meeting on August 7. The room rate is $60 per night, including breakfast. Donna Branson strongly suggests that individuals reserve their rooms early, because the hotel is not too large and it does fill. Lyn Puttnam is our contact person at the Atherton (405-744-7695, lyn.puttnam@okstate.edu). Lunch and dinners are additional expenses, as well as a possible nominal transportation charge to visit a research facility in Oklahoma City. Donna will arrange transport to STW from both airports using faculty and grad students to help. BUT you must give her specifics on arrival and departure times to make these transportation arrangements. However, if someone comes in very late, they will need to rent a car and incur those expenses (approximately $200).
