Registration: If you plan on attending, please let us know prior to September 20, 2009.

Hotel Accommodations: A block of rooms is being held until September 9, 2009. Guests should call (732) 932-9144 extension 1 to make reservations. They must mention their group name, Equine Environmental Working Group when making reservations in order to receive the special group discount.

Meals: A breakfast brunch is provided. Other meals are available at nearby restaurants (there are many and very close). Transportation will be provided for those needing it.

Tentative schedule:
October 9, Rutgers University staff will be available to meet and greet you.
October 10-11, Regional project discussions:
1. Get to know participants
2. Discuss the regional project and each participants involvement
3. Discuss the future of the group, meetings, communications, etc.
4. Presentation of any reports either completed or planned
5. Break into focus groups (feeding management, pasture management, water quality, air quality, economics, etc.) and write literature reviews that can serve as the basis for journal review articles and grant submissions in the future
