In coordination with the Pacific Northwest Forage Workers (PNWFW) group, we have decided on September 28 to October 1 as the dates for this years combined meeting of the PNWFW and WERA 1014 committees and request authorization of those dates. When WERA 1014 was organized 2 years ago, we decided to meet annually with the PNWFW if at all possible. Last years combined meeting in Twin Falls, Idaho was a success. A combined meeting increases attendance for both groups which allows for more interaction among people working in forages. Several grant proposals were submitted last year as a result of the interactions at last years meeting. The meeting this year is slated to be held in Corvallis, Oregon at the Salbasgeon Suites Motel.
